Requesting New Movies & TV Shows

Don't see something you want to watch? You can submit a request and — if approved — it will be added to the library.

How Requests Work​

  1. You submit a request through the Media Requests tool
  2. The request is reviewed by your Patflix administrator
  3. If approved, the content is downloaded and added to the library automatically
  4. You'll receive a notification when it's ready to watch

Important: Only requests submitted through the Media Requests tool will be considered. Please do not contact the administrator directly to ask for content — all requests must go through the system so nothing gets lost.

Submitting a Request​

  1. Go to request.patflix.app
  2. If you're not already signed in, you'll be taken to the login page — enter your Patflix username and password
  3. Use the search bar at the top to search for the movie or TV show you want
  4. Click on the correct result from the search list
  5. Click the Request button on the title's page
  6. Confirm your request when prompted

That's all there is to it. You'll see the request show up as Pending until it's approved.

Checking the Status of a Request​

  1. Go to request.patflix.app
  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select Requests or My Requests

Here you'll see all your past requests and their current status:

ApprovedThe request has been approved and is being downloaded
AvailableThe content is ready to watch on Patflix
DeclinedThe request was not approved

Tips for Good Requests​

  • Search carefully — make sure you're requesting the right title (check the year if there are multiple results with similar names)
  • Check if it's already there — before requesting, search in patflix.app to see if the content is already in the library
  • TV shows — you can request a specific season or the entire series; the request form will ask which you want
  • Be patient — depending on availability, it may take some time for content to be downloaded and processed after approval
