On Your TV

Android TV / Google TV​

If your TV runs Android TV or Google TV (common on Sony TVs, Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, and similar devices), use the official Jellyfin app.

Installing Jellyfin on Android TV​

  1. On your TV, open the Google Play Store
  2. Search for Jellyfin
  3. Select the app by Jellyfin Contributors and install it

Connecting to Patflix​

Once installed:

  1. Open the Jellyfin app
  2. On the welcome screen, tap Add Server
  3. In the server address field, type exactly: 
    https://patflix.app
  4. Tap Next or Connect
  5. Enter your Patflix username and password
  6. Tap Sign In

You're in. Your libraries will load and you can start watching.

Logging In Again Later​

The app will remember your server and usually keep you logged in. If it ever asks you to sign in again, use the same username and password as always.

Apple TV​

For Apple TV, the recommended app is Infuse by Firecore. It provides an excellent playback experience and integrates well with Patflix.

Installing Infuse on Apple TV​

  1. On your Apple TV, open the App Store
  2. Search for Infuse
  3. Download and install Infuse 10 (the free version works fine for connecting to Patflix)

Connecting to Patflix​

  1. Open Infuse
  2. From the home screen, go to Settings (gear icon, bottom of the screen)
  3. Select Add Files or Add Share / Server
  4. Choose Jellyfin from the list of server types
  5. In the server address field, enter: 
    https://patflix.app
  6. Enter your Patflix username and password
  7. Tap Connect or Save

Your media libraries will appear in Infuse and you can start browsing.

Browsing Your Library​

Once connected, your movies and TV shows will appear under the Library tab. Infuse automatically organizes everything and fetches artwork — it may take a minute or two on first load.

Troubleshooting​

The app can't connect to the server

  • Double-check that the server address is https://patflix.app (with the https:// at the beginning)
  • Make sure your TV is connected to the internet

Wrong username or password

  • Use the same credentials you use at login.patflix.app
  • Passwords are case-sensitive — check that Caps Lock is not on

My TV is not listed here

  • If your TV has a built-in app store, search for Jellyfin — it's available on most modern smart TV platforms
  • Alternatively, you can plug in a Chromecast with Google TV or an Apple TV and follow the appropriate guide above
